About us
This is a sample rental company, set up so you can see how a Safari Desk booking website works: search dates, open a car, see the price for your trip, and book.
Nothing booked here is real, and no money is taken.
Good to know
- To drive yourself
- You must be 23 or older, with a valid driving permit. Bring your national ID or passport.
- Security deposit
- UGX 300,000 to UGX 1,000,000 for self-drive, paid at pickup and refunded when the car comes back as it left.
- With a driver
- UGX 50,000 a day for the driver, plus UGX 30,000 a night when the trip is outside Kampala. Fuel is yours.
- Crossing a border
- Allowed to Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania. We prepare the papers and COMESA insurance; the fee is shown in your price.
- Paying
- 30% online by mobile money or card when you book; the rest at pickup.
- Cancelling
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup. Later cancellations lose the online deposit.
