Your cars, your bookings, one desk.
Safari Desk is for car hire companies in Uganda, from five saloons in Kampala to a fleet of safari Land Cruisers in Entebbe. Customers book on your own website and pay a deposit by mobile money or card. Your staff see every car on one calendar, hand cars over with a signed sheet, and take them back with the extra charges worked out.
What it does
- Booking website
- Your fleet with your photos, prices for the customer's dates (self-drive or with a driver, upcountry, Rwanda or Kenya, airport delivery, extras), and dollar prices for tourists. A booking reference they keep, and a page to pay the balance.
- Deposits online
- MTN, Airtel or card through R-TECK Pay. Flutterwave pays the money straight to your MoMo number or bank account. The car is held for 30 minutes while they pay, then confirmed by itself.
- No double booking
- Every car on a line, with the time between hires for washing kept free. The database itself refuses two bookings on one car.
- Handover in the yard
- Mileage, fuel in eighths, damage tapped on the car's outline with a photo each, the checklist, and the customer's signature on the phone.
- Return and settle
- Late hours, kilometres over the allowance and missing fuel are worked out for you. Security deposits held, applied and returned. Payments by cash, MoMo, bank or card.
- The cars themselves
- Insurance, inspection and permit dates, servicing by kilometres or months, every cost, and what each car earned against what it cost.
- Every morning
- An email at 7:00 with today's pickups and returns, late cars, requests waiting and papers running out.
